Parker Duofold Fountain Pen International, Check Citrine
Mint Parker Duofold International fountain pen in Citrine Check with chrome plated trim.
Solid 18K gold rhodium plated Medium nib. The barrel code Y.111 dates it to the first quarter of 2006.
Uses Parker mini cartridges or converter (converter fitted).
The Check Collection was created in 2005 to launch the newly branded Ace Duofold. It was a stunning new geometric pattern, produced in three two-tone check finishes: amber/hazel, olive/grey and blue/marine. The material was crafted from squares of coloured pearl acrylic seamlessly joined together by diffusion bonding.
Each pen is unique, with subtle colour variations. The appearance is reminiscent of the multicoloured laminates used in the 1930s.
