The makers mark on the pencil is YOL followed by 9/.375, the date letter 'n' for the year 1968 with the London Assay Office mark. The pencil is hallmarked to the case, clip and top. It's in great condition with no visible damage.
It is also stamped around the top with 'MADE IN ENGLAND PATENT No 422767'. The pencil has been engraved with 'A R W-G 20.3.22 - 20.3.72'.
The box with a shagreen-style leatherette covering is in excellent condition.
