Wahl Eversharp Gold Filled Mechanical Pencil, 1920s
A lovely vintage mechanical pencil in full working order.
The pen is gold filled (a heavy, more expensive, version of gold plating with greater gold thickness) and has "WAHL EVERSHARP GOLD FILLED MADE IN USA" written at the top of the barrel just below the lead advance mechanism, which you turn to advance the lead.
It is in excellent condition with no plating loss, scratches or dents. There is some minor discolouration to the very tip of the pencil which could be polished out. It is in full working order and has a lead in situ. The clip is tight and in excellent condition.
All in all a lovely 1920s gold filled Wahl Eversharp mechanical pencil in full working order, all ready for another century of reliable service!
