This is a vintage Swan Mabie Todd Eternal 46/ETN fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1915. The pen is large and bold. It is quite a rare Swan model, in stunning Black Hard Rubber with gold trim. The black colour is without discolouration, which is pretty unusual as models of this colour often have a discolouration/darkening problem.
The imprint on the barrel is nice; and also the model number '46/ETN' is embossed at the barrel end. The pen bears a large Swan ETERNAL #6 solid 14k gold nib. A new ink sac has been fitted to the pen. There is brassing on the lever but both gold bands are in very good condition.
