Parker Duofold Fountain Pen Mini, Check Marine
New Parker Duofold Mini fountain pen in Marine Check with chrome plated trim.
Solid 18K gold rhodium plated Medium nib. The pen features the International nib size, but is only 115mm long when closed – suitable for the bag or pocket. The barrel code Y.III dates it to the first quarter of 2006.
Uses Parker mini cartridges – 6 x Black and 6 x Blue cartridges included, in a Parker gift box with pen holder and cushioned tray.
The Check Collection was created in 2005 to launch the newly branded Ace Duofold. It was a stunning new geometric pattern, produced in three two-tone check finishes: amber/hazel, olive/grey and blue/marine. The material was crafted from squares of coloured pearl acrylic seamlessly joined together by diffusion bonding.
Each pen is unique, with subtle colour variations. The appearance is reminiscent of the multicoloured laminates used in the 1930s.
