Excellent condition Parker Duofold Centennial Fountain Pen, Mosaic Black, 2002.
Medium 18k gold nib. Platinum trim. The cap and nib bear the Parker banner emblem. Barrel code U.
The pen is a convertible filler – to use with an ink cartridge (included) or bottled ink by using the Parker ink converter (fitted). Parker box included – not the original box, but a luxury Parker box, please see pictures for detail.
In 2002 a special edition The Mosaic, was added to the Duofold line. The inspiration was the ancient art of mosaic which dates back to 3,000 BC. This technique has been used by many great civilisations through the ages.Parker gave a new meaning to this art form with a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. The Carville Company used their diffusion bonding technique to produce a solid block of patterned material, from which the pens were made. The first colour was blue in 2001, followed by red and black in 2002.
