Conway Stewart "100" Fountain Pen
Fine to Medium nib, Lever fill system.
Condition: Good
Colour: Jet Black
c1954
This classic Conway Stewart No.100 was made in England in the late 1950’s. The No.100 was the most prestigious Conway Stewart of the era. This large, well made, pen surpassed even the No.60 in terms of size and style. Produced only in black with rolled gold trim it is an excellent example of Conway Stewart at their best. You will see an alternative example of this model with three cap bands in the archive section of this site. This pen, with its single broad cap band, is what Steve Hull has termed a “non-standard variant” of the model. The barrel states “Conway Stewart 100” “Made in England”. The original large Conway nib states: “Duro Conway Stewart 14ct Gold” and has a smooth fine to medium point. The condition of the pen is good, with minimal surface wear and minor trim brassing primarily on the clip. A large substantial pen to either add to a vintage fountain pen collection or to use as an everyday writer. Serviced and bench tested.
